Margaret Procter is a lecturer at the Liverpool University Centre for Archive Studies (LUCAS)
and was previously  Records Manager for the University. She has research interests in a wide range of current and historical archives and records management topics. Her most recent publication is as contributor to and co-editor of Political Pressure and the Archival Record (Society of American Archivists, 2006). She is a long-standing member of the editorial boards of the International Council on Archives journals Comma and its predecessor Janus.
