The State Archives Head Office is a central government administration office whose role is to support the General Director of the State Archives – the organ responsible for managing the Polish State Archives network.
The Head Office consists of the following departments:
- Department of Archival Science,
- Department of Computerization of the State Archives,
- Department of National Archival Holdings Management,
- Department of the Organization of the State Archives,
- Department of Archival Activity Popularization,
- Department of Development of the State Archives,
- The Office of Managing Director of the State Archives Head Office.
